Manage Social Media in a Strategic, Time-Efficient Manner

During this presentation, you’ll get an overview of how to plan social media content in a time-efficient and strategic manner. You will walk away ready to develop a content calendar, understand how to batch create content, and how to find 'evergreen' content ideas, plus we'll cover time saving tips and tools. Attendees will be doing a hands-on “live action content calendar” exercise to demonstrate the principles. Gray will then be demonstrating these concepts using the free Notion app, but no prior knowledge is necessary and the principles will apply to any social media strategy. The template he uses will also be freely available after the class. This session will help you take control of your social media channels and get the most out of the content you're developing!

All attendees are welcome to join Gray and the Chamber's Social Media MicroGroup at Barriques from 10:30-11:30 after the presentation for further discussion/questions.

Business Works is topic targeted for growth-oriented business professionals. The first portion will be a presentation from the speaker to learn the content. The middle portion of the event is intended for you to work on what you just learned. We'll end with a debrief of roundtable discussions. This is a fully interactive workshop with plenty of audience participation, so bring your laptop, come ready to work and take action.

About The Speaker:
Gray Miller has provided creative services as a freelancer and entrepreneur since 2000, including graphic, video, and web design, visual facilitation, performance technology, public speaking, and event production. In 2020 he began working in nonprofit development and in 2022 joined the RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center, bringing his creative skills along for the ride. Gray also serves on the board of Social Media Breakfast Madison with Faith Dey, the original presenter of this topic.
