Trademark is relevant to every thing we do from Social Media, Marketing, and Business/Sales. It is relevant to Human Resources because protecting the company brand from departing/disgruntled employees depends on crafting employee nondisclosure and non-compete agreements to include trademark-specific provisions.  (Don't believe Beth? Ask the bands Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, and Deep Purple. They all found themselves fighting with former band members about using the band's name. The same thing happens in business.)
